Rhubarb Moscow Mule


Give your Moscow Mule a French twist with this delicious recipe which gives you the delicate citrus taste of our premium 1664 Blanc combined with the très chic flavour of fresh locally sourced rhubarb. Topped with ginger slices, this cocktail allows you to customize and strike the perfect balance between sweet, strong and spicy, making it a perfect year-round cocktail. Substitute with our Alcohol Free 1664 Blanc and remove the vodka for an alcohol free version.


Syrup Prep Time: 12 minutes | Cocktail Prep Time: 2 min | Servings: 1 drink


For Cocktail:
4 tsp rhubarb syrup
2 tbsp lime juice
2 shots vodka (remove for Alcohol Free version)
1 cup 1664 Blanc (or Alcohol Free 1664 Blanc)
3 slices ginger

For Rhubarb Syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup white sugar
4 cups chopped rhubarb

For Garnish:
1 lime slice


1. Boil the chopped rhubarb, sugar and water together in a saucepan and then cook on low heat for 10 minutes until the rhubarb is tender.
2. Strain the rhubarb syrup through a fine sieve and leave to cool in a jar overnight.
3. Combine the vodka, lime juice and add rhubarb syrup to taste in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously.

4. Serve over ice and top with 1664 Blanc, ginger slices and garnish with lime.
